DONE + DUSTED

At 25m long, 6.7m wide, and 3m high, the stage was fabricated in our metal shop using 40x40x3mm steel box section. 16 guide wheels were used for the traps, with 190x50mm PFC (Parallel Flange Channel) providing the runner guides.

With time and spatial restrictions on site, a unique identification tag was etched into the surface of each component, then colour-coded into sections of the stage to streamline unloading and placement on arrival.

We deployed our Qmotion equipment for the automation; a dual drive system powering four motors to open the trap doors, and a hydraulic system with four Joule scissor lifts to raise the performance platform.

The additional trophy lift was three tiered and chain driven, involving two motors, one drive and one console. It was finished in black primer, clad in 6mm ply with a 3mm Dibond brushed steel finish.
