This year has been one of consolidation in respect of our Middle East operations. We’ve delivered a significant ceremony project in Qatar (Opening of the AFC Asian Cup), have completed the establishment work in our UAE Warehouse and have been working hard to extend our network of contacts in KSA, Qatar and the UAE.
We now have a small team of permanent staff in region and a whole host of stage engineering equipment that is on the ground and ready for hire. This inventory includes truss, chain hoists, winches, revolves and lifts.
This strategy means that we are spending an increasing amount of time in territory. In addition to the permanent staff that work out of our Kezad warehouse, our Managing Director, Finance Director, Sales Director and Technical Director have committed to spending a proportion of their time in region, meaning that there is senior representation on the ground for at least a week each month.
Just last week our MD and Sales Director were in Dubai, meeting with new and existing clients. Both were delighted to be able to attend the Middle East Event Awards and celebrate our association with award winning projects, including the delivery of our largest ever piece of stage engineering for UAE Union Day 52.
We love the ambition and commitment to creativity that our clients in the region demonstrate. We’re in it for the long haul and look forward to delivering extraordinary work and cementing our reputation as an established provider of creative engineering and manufacturing excellence in the GCC.
