Working to a tight timescale for our client Five33, we were asked to build an interactive touring set to promote the Adidas brand across various generic and Adidas clothing stores throughout Europe.
The high specification modular set was constructed so that the different sections could be used in various configurations. New sections could also be made and slotted into the existing design as required during the tour that took in Paris, Milan, Barcelona and the Czech Republic. The installation required a shop-fitting quality with a high gloss two pack PU spray painted finish being used throughout.
Two interactive pods were located on each side of the main structure, providing touch screens, a Chromakey background and a Wii remote control. This enabled members of the public to be filmed whilst playing along with a sports themed Wii game and then to watch themselves back, in full action.
A central display plinth consisted of 15 individual acrylic boxes with internal lights. A light box was fitted along the whole rim of the pod while the rear wall contained further light boxes of varying sizes, hanging rails and back lit shelving for the high profile display of the latest Adidas products. We also adapted and fitted a plasma screen and added various graphics including the Adidias logo.
