Stage One helped set the scene once again for iconic awards ceremony BBC Sports Personality of the Year.
Broadcast live from MediaCity, Salford, the set was refreshed for this prestigious event. Once the stage ramps were installed, and the pre-lam tops placed, the stage was finished with a brushed aluminium trim.
The presenter’s walkway was dressed with stone-effect scenic flats, framed and back lit to highlight their route, as they made their way through the audience and onto the stage.
New features we manufactured for this year’s show included a seating booth for interviews, as well as two new logo flats and presenters lecturn due to new branding.
Install, rehearsals, show and de-rig were complete in 7 days. The set is back in Stage One storage and ready for another year.
