For the 2005 world leaders’ summit organised by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, we dressed the main meeting room, raising the floor level, cladding the walls and pillars with a vinyl finish and installing a suspended ceiling with downlighters.
We also replaced a set of windows with double patio doors and built steel framed limestone steps down to ground level, along with authentic looking low level walls and handrails either side. All additions were built and treated to seamlessly match the hotel’s existing structures and fittings.
