Compact, strong and reliable, without Frank, there would have been considerably less magic to the Olympic Cauldron reveal. Nicknamed to complement the Cauldron ‘Betty’, Frank was by far and away the largest of the stage lifts we provided for the Opening Ceremony, raising the cauldron the two metres required to bring her out of hiding and into show position.

With a combined weight of nearly 50 tonnes, the reliable partnership of Betty and Frank brought the world a heart stopping moment.
