This was our fourth year working with Magnet, helping deliver a series of convincing yet inspirational lifestyle sets to show off their latest range of kitchens, fixtures and fittings.

We installed three different kitchen sets to be used for a variety of purposes including television advertising, social media campaigns, conferences and a product catalogue. With the close scrutiny of lighting and cameras, the kitchen fitting required the very best traditional joinery skills.

For filming, our team took the bare space at Manchester Studios in Warrington and created the entire kitchen environment, marking out the room, laying a sub floor and installing walls and ceiling. Different contexts were created for each set, with a variety of finishes and detailing including herringbone flooring, false brickwork and tiling. The set functioned like a real kitchen, all utilities were connected and all appliances, sockets and light fittings were fully functioning.

To facilitate a rapid installation, the three kitchens for the conference set were largely pre-built in our workshops. Close attention to detail and finishing featured across all the sets, showcasing not just the client’s product, but also the traditional skills and neat, precise work of our team.
