Taking place in the vast industrial interior of a ship repair yard facility in the port of Ras Laffan, we provided a scenic, staging and flying package for this significant inauguration event. We constructed seating for 650 specially invited guests; provided a 50m wide stage using our Qatari based stock and a Mothergrid truss with four Qmotion controlled flying points for performers and scenery.
We also provided a number of key scenic props including a huge canvass dhow sail, an 11m high trucking windmill and a fully lined 21m by 8m pool for a water ballet display.
