For this striking reveal on the roof of the O2, we unfurled a series of ten 126 metre long banners in the five colours of the Olympic rings. All were simultaneously deployed in just 30 seconds, creating a stunning effect.
The timescale was tight – just 28 days from first discussions to the ceremony. Great care was required whilst working on the 0.8mm thick landmark roof, with the unseasonal covering of snow on the morning of the reveal adding an extra note of caution.
