Great example of the kind of work we can turn around quickly and at short notice. Our workshops manufactured three pop-up pavilions for ‘Park Here and Play’, a play-themed temporary transformation that took place in Victoria Gardens outside Leeds City Art Gallery.
Each of the timber structures covered a footprint of 4m by 4m and stood at 3m high. A simple, straightforward build, the red cubes were manufactured, delivered and installed within a few days. Each cube incorporated a series of themed kentledge ballast blocks and housed a free-to-use play activity with the aim of attracting families to an under-used public space in the middle of Leeds while developing Victoria Gardens as the threshold to Leeds Art Gallery. Over the course of a few weeks, the community activation saw over 5000 visitors.
