This Ceremony required Qmotion to deliver a total of 35 axes of aerial automation, delivering precise control to various elements of the show.

The aerial pieces included two flying ‘boats’, a 10m sphere weighing three tonnes and seven fabric ‘medals’. We also flew 21 aerial performers. Installation took just three weeks as the Benfica Stadium in Lisbon was strung with 16 horizontal steel wire catenaries, with two further steel wires and hoists providing vertical movement.
