The manufacture of this high-spec six metre long reception desk combined traditional cabinet making skills and some of our most advanced machine kit. The sculptural form was created from an engineered sub-frame clad with mirror polished stainless steel.

Our laser tube cutter was used to help create the sub-frame while our 5 axis CNC facilities created moulds for the outer shell. The desk included fully integrated cable management and a series of drawers, cupboards and pop-up monitor screens. Leather upholstery was used for the recessed table surface and side panels, adding textural detail. Special consideration was needed in transporting and installing such a large single item, with a bespoke protective crate being made for the delivery to a prestigious new office building in central London.
