Well-known for providing their app users with an innovative and immersive experience, social media giant Snapchat required an equally slick experience for guests at their new offices near Farringdon station, London.

The collaboration between Your Studio, Immersive and Stage One delivered this requirement.

Stage One was commissioned to provide GRP structures in various forms, creative designs that would house the technology used by visitors to access Snapchat products.

Examples of these GRP structures include a large-scale rotating mobile phone and a curved desk with the screen integrated into its surface. GRP offers a strong yet lightweight structure and could be formed into the desired shape.

In conjunction, our 3D printing department Fluxaxis manufactured a variety of models for their Cabinet of Curiosity – including busts that represent the app’s users and its concept of the selfie.
