Winner of Best Live Event at the AV awards, Steve Austen-Brown’s ‘Empire of Silence’ attraction at the Expo in Switzerland was a simple experience but a complex project. Visitors passed through a series of chambers to experience sensory deprivation. Creating scenic elements and electro-mechanical set pieces, we laid in all the audio, video, lighting and mechanical cabling, power and control. We built an oscillating bridge leading visitors through the giant mouth.
